Now, East Texas is about to boast one of the finest marinas and resort areas in Texas! Certainly the site is world-class, enjoying an enviable position with its own bay on the ten-thousand acre Lake Bob Sandlin. With mature woodland, blue waters and rolling greensward, Barefoot Bay is a natural shoreline setting in the heart of the pineywoods.
This is the only marina on the lake, with the only waterside Gas station for boats and water-craft.
Barefoot Bay is now planned to be the destination of choice for families, RV visitors and campers. With planned new cafes, restaurants and family beach and swimming facilities, this is the place to be, on the lake. The store will be upgraded and open daily for grocery items, beer, wine and all those important items you need to make your day at the lake complete. Even fishing poles and bait will be available.
The boat dock, completely renovated with new lighting and upgraded power has only 40 boat slips. Demand is high, so call our toll free number and reserve your space now. A limited number of slips will be fitted with boat lifts to better safeguard your investment. State-of-the-art 24/7 camera security is also being installed.
A great new boat valet service is planned. Just call ahead of time and we will have your boat in the water, cleaned, gassed, started and ready to go, complete with a picnic basket if you wish. When you’ve enjoyed the lake, just leave the boat at the docking bay, and we’ll put it away, clean it, and leave it ready for next time! Our on-site boat mechanic will be available to make sure your boat is always lake-ready.
With our planned new waterside Landings Café, and 4 Corners of the World Restaurant with American, Mexican, Chinese and Italian cuisine on offer, would you consider being anywhere else. We are just 2 hours from Dallas, less from Shreveport, but a world away in reality!
Our stunning RV SITE has one of the most beautiful vistas, with easy pull in-and out. With new 50amp service to every bay, and completely re-modelled bathrooms and showers, Barefoot Bay Premier RV Park is designed for class ’A’ living! We also have our Woodland Park for campers and camping. With easy access from the road, and all the amenities that the whole marina offers, weekends and holidays will be fun again!
Future plans are for vacation cabins in the woodlands and lakeshore, a 30-room lake-view motel, dry boat storage and luxury dog kennels to pamper man’s best friend, while you have fun.
